The health of our planet should be of concern to each and every one of us. If we do not consider new ways of proceeding, in an environment in which the air is polluted, where the natural resources are used at a fast pace and wasted, is a system dedicated to becoming sterile.

It is time to set forth concrete gestures in order to ensure the enduring of our ecosystem and to maintain the existence of all the creatures who reside in it, including us as human beings. It equally goes for the survival of our society and all that it constitutes.

The textile industry was at the origin of the industrial revolution. It would be a just reward if the industry was also a dominant actor in the installation of a system in which we could experience sustainable development.

This guide is one of the contributions in which we wish to make, to any individual eager to implement the change within their own organization. We do not claim to offer a “hands on” solution to solve a problem that humanity is barely discovering. The purpose of this guide is only to trigger thinking with regards to the good environmental practices, and that together, we can contribute to the survival of our mother Earth.
